In 2024, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation celebrates its 40th Anniversary! This year, we project selecting and awarding 71 Astronaut Scholars with each scholar receiving up to $15,000 in scholarship funding and participation in our annual Innovators Symposium & Gala, featuring the Neil Armstrong™ Award of Excellence.
In 2024, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) celebrates 40 years of supporting the innovators of tomorrow! ASF is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides annually more than 60 scholarships to the brightest and most talented college students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Our mission is to aid the United States in retaining its world leadership in technology and innovation by supporting the very best and brightest scholars in science, technology, engineering and mathematics while commemorating the legacy of America’s pioneering astronauts.
ASF seeks to inspire, encourage, and facilitate Astronaut Scholars to embody the highly respected astronaut characteristics, such as intelligence, ambition, self-motivation, high ethical standards, persistence, tenacity, adaptability, and a passion for science, exploration, and innovation. This focus will aid in placing the best American scholars in positions that will positively change and influence society.
We’re turning charity auctions and fundraising upside down and inside out.
A GOODBIDS positive auction has a great prize, and you can submit bids, but the big difference is that every bid is a non-refundable donation to a charity you care about.
That means that great prizes end up going for really low bids. And charities end up raising more money at the same time.
All you need to do is find an auction you like and place a bid. The money goes directly to the charity and you’ll get a receipt for your tax deductible donation.
